The Department's Executive Assistants (EAs) are responsible for the management of the day to day operations of the Office of the Commissioner. Their duties include but are not limited to coordinating executive communications, answering phone inquiries, routing calls to the appropriate Division, providing basic departmental information, responding to emails, and interfacing with clients. The EAs perform clerical duties such as preparing correspondence, arranging travel itineraries, and accommodations for all staff. They review all general correspondence for the Commissioner’s signature, inclusive of web inquires, and act as a liaison to the user agencies and staff within the Department. Additionally, they plan, organize, and implement events such as Executive Meetings and employee appreciation events. The EAs are also responsible for the processing of all justification letters for the Executive Branch. They also supervise the Receptionist and Chauffeur. They are entrusted to act as the alternate cashier for the Department and serve as the administrators of the Petty Cash Fund.
