ST. CROIX/ST. THOMAS, USVI – The Department of Property and Procurement (DPP) has implemented reduced office hours and employee remote work schedules at its Subbase, St. Thomas and Estate Richmond, St. Croix offices, effective Tues., Dec. 28, 2021 through Mon., Jan. 10, 2022, in the interest of employee and patron safety amid rising COVID-19 cases territory-wide.

The St. Croix Office will be closed on Thurs., Dec. 30 to conduct a semi-annual deep cleaning.

Both offices will observe reduced in-person customer-service hours from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily; the remainder of the workday will be used to complete internal work processes and field customer-service requests received via email or telephone call. Some employees will observe a rotating schedule, while others will work remotely. As such, walk-ins will not be allowed during the aforementioned period. User agencies and visitors are asked to email or call ahead to schedule an appointment. The new schedule is in line with Governor Bryan’s directive given at his Dec. 27 weekly press conference.

Despite the temporary changes, DPP remains operational. All government agencies, vendors, tenants, and members of the public that conduct business with the Government of the Virgin Islands or the Department are encouraged to contact 340.774.0828 (St. Thomas) or 340.773.1561 (St. Croix).
